We consider modifications of the original axioms of Menger which together with additional axioms characterize the covering dimension, dim, on the class of metrizable spaces. We discuss the set of pure states of some models which are ordered in a non-periodic way. This includes some results on a random model and some based on the Thue-Morse system. We discuss the possible nature of non-periodic long-range order, and also the overlap distribution between the pure states. The binding energies of molecular electrons are computed as the diffence between the energies of ground state and hole state by a one-center expansion method. The results are compared with the experimental data and discussed with previous calculations. The Ar atom and the third row hydrides are considered. We present new formulae for the matrix elements of one-body and two-body physical operators, which are applicable to arbitrary Hartree–Fock–Bogoliubov wave functions, including those for multi-quasiparticle Timberland Shoes Winnipeg excitations.
