Studio Conduct and Behaviour
The studio has rules of Conduct and Behaviour that we encourage every dancer and parent to follow.
These rules are laid out to enhance the discipline of dance and to make the studio a safe and healthy place where the children can have fun as well as learn.
- Conduct yourself in a sportsman-like manner at all times.
- Set a good example acknowledging and respecting the efforts and abilities of other dancers.
- Support and encourage the children to work hard and give their best effort. Set realistic goals and strive to be proud of their achievements.
- Follow all rules of competitions, workshops and festivals.
- Follow the advice of the doctor when recovering from an injury or illness, to determine when dancing may resume.
- Avoid sharing drinks and make-up, as disease can be spread easily this way.
- Keep washrooms and dressing rooms clean at all times.
- Avoid lending or borrowing dancewear. Often these articles are lost or not returned and are very expensive to replace. Although we have a lost and found box, the studio is not responsible for lost articles.
- No verbal or physical abuse allowed.
- Each dancer and parent must read the bulletin board to keep themselves informed of upcoming events.
- No gum chewing allowed!
- Respect the property of others. Stealing is a very serious offence that will not be tolerated!
